Module Seven

Full Day: Spiritual Rhythms with Connie Maier

The final module of the Women’s Ministries Institute will teach Spiritual Direction, designed to help students reflect on their own spiritual journeys and the key learnings of their past year of challenge and growth.

The value of spiritual autobiography and the spiritual disciplines of silence and solitude, prayer and meditation, and spiritual companionship will be discussed and experienced, as means by which the inner life with God is restored and tended. Principles of spiritual discernment for personal decision-making and for responding to God’s ongoing call in life and ministry will be prayerfully considered.

Grateful celebration of gifts received and a ceremony of benediction will conclude the retreat as a means of closure to this program of study.
