WMI has given me the opportunity to think upon whatever is true, noble, pure, lovely, admirable, excellent or praiseworthy. What I have learned, received, seen and heard I am inspired to put into practice (Philippians 4:8,9). WMI has encouraged me to draw near to my precious God and to give myself more and more to a life of constant communion with His glorious Presence. The experience of WMI has been a huge privilege that bears with it a transformational impact for a lifetime. The academic challenges that were extended from a well rounded yet diverse curriculum, the broad exposure to deeply spiritual texts, the stimulating assignments and the teaching by very learned, committed instructors all contributed to a year of growth on so many levels. My life has been enriched by my peers on the same journey, by the wisdom and care of our coach and by the committed prayers of the leadership team. The opportunity to serve my home community through the field practicum made the learning experience so relevant. God used WMI to be a lifesaver and healer in my life. When I started on this journey I had a battle-worn, depressed and shattered soul with no hope that God would ever have a purpose for me again. Through the gentleness of the ministry team, the safe place of my coaching pod and the stretching that has come from the readings, assignments and classes, God has brought healing and a renewed sense of purpose. My soul has been restored as I have found my centre in Him.
